Hey everyone, I’ve just purchased a soft tune kit for my HW80 and I’m in the process of installing it. I’ve watched many disassembly videos and figured out what I have to do. However, I’m having a hard time removing the safety pins that are holding the trigger assembly in place. I tried hammering them out as per the videos but they haven’t bulged. I’ve followed every steps up to that but I don’t think hitting them harder is the way to go ? Any help would be appreciated. Cheers !

I followed this exact video. I was using small wooden dowels (on account of not having brass punchers handy), do you think this was the problem ?

Steel or brass punches are likely necessary. Sure looked like it to me.
The second time you do this, will be easier.

I do not have an HW80, but I watched the video and I believe that he said to drive the pins out from the right side of the rifle. I have encountered pins on different guns (and other equipment) in the past that had pins with a slight flare that made them very hard to drive out if you picked the wrong direction.
Good luck!

Steel puncher did the trick ! Thanks a lot. However I’m having a hard time unscrewing end cap, I know I need to hit it hard but at the same time I don’t want to damage it …

If you use the cloth wrapped open ended wrench as in the video, the "fit" of thed wrench in the slot has to be quite snug. A piece of hardwood it even better.
