As we do each year, we use our own home-grown fruit.... This year we had a bumper crop of Valiant Grapes (66 lbs.) and Liberty Apples (160 lbs.)....

The grapes will provide us with 30 bottles of Red dinner wine and 15 bottles of Port.... while the apple juice will be blended with juice from our Gravensteins and Transparents for a White dinner wine and Cider.... There were so many apples this year we were giving them away!....
