Good day all. My name is Henk and I am an avid shooter of all things that shoot. Currently living in Kamloops BC. I am looking at importing my two air rifles from South Africa. A dastate huntsman in 5mm and a theorem rapid mk2 in 5.5mm.

I am currently stuck on the regulations. I do have a PAL but according to my interpretation of the law the Daystate should be a restricted weapon as it exceeds the power and does not meet the minimum barrel length of 470mm for non restricted. Yet they are available in Canada with only a PAL and they state on the site that the barrel length is only 430mm
