We got 35cm of snow last night on top of freezing rain and 4cm of ice pellets here in L.A. (Lappe Area)
The lake I live on is wide open. No ice even around the edges.
Thunder Bay 35km away got rain. No snow.
Lake Superior is 601 feet above sea level.
My parking lot is 1599 feet above sea level.
We usually get twice the amount of snow Thunder Bay gets.

My new dog (greyhound and border collie cross) only saw snow briefly when we adopted her at 7 months old in April. (Rescue from Texas)
She spent about 30 minutes running at full throttle through the snow this morning with her head down sending snow flying.
She needs a little sign that says, "I am Canadian".

I shall be back to shovel that white stuff soon! Meanwhile please keep an eye on that guy shooting all the targets blindfolded. Don't let him take all the first place honours. Give others a chance to win.
