I recently picked up a used Diana Chaser, and the original owner replaced the rear sight with an aftermarket sight that sits too high. I’m looking for recommendations for other types of rear open sights, that will give me a low sight plane and allows for windage adjustment. Wondered what other guys are using?

What attachment method is needed for this "new" rear sight?
The side picture looks like it is screw mounted.
There are not many screw on sights to choose from, on the market.

I actually solved my problem this morning. I had a Williams screw on target sight from a cartridge pistol in my parts bin. I flattened and trued the base, drilled and countersunk new mounting holes and fitted it up. Worked great and shoots where it’s supposed to now.
I’m a gunsmith and custom blade smith for a living, so retro fitting parts isn’t new to me.
Now to figure out how that plastic front sights sleeved onto the barrel. I’m considering changing that out too.

Hi and welcome on the forum Tula,

You may want to speak with Wes @ Airgun&ArcheryFun, he may well have a spare rear sight available for this model. HTH.
