As far as I am concerned I find it sad and hypocritical that Liberals would say such things about indigenous people - they are almost as bad as conservatives in that respect, as I've seen a lot of conservatives be very disrespectful towards the indigenous community.

Now that the ingenious community is on our side, we "respect them", but when they are not, that respect for many people will go out the window - mark my words.

This is completely true. Look at how poorly indigenous people are treated when they don't want a pipeline running through their territory.
