I see why you would need a barrel band or two.

Yes, indeed. The barrel bands are on their way - hopefully. Should have been sent last Tues. or Wed.- lol- maybe Thursday?
Anyway, yes - 2 on the way. I'm happier with the Condor now, with the Immersive on it - finally got the right height for that tank - cheek rest.
Tks flyfisherman - the stock turned out quite nicely. The finish is circa:1850 Tung Oil. It's probably boiled linseed oil with a tiny bit of tung oil in it.
That's quite a list of guns, Tom.
LOL

Changes - regulator down to 100 bar (1,450 psi)
Fill ----------------------to 230 bar (3,336 psi)
Transfer Port setting LOW
I didn't however, change the hammer setting. It is almost max.
I guess that's another avenue for testing. LOL

Made 100 shots, tank pressure down to 150 bar (2,175.6 psi)
" 51 shots, tank pressure down to 100 bar (1,450.0 psi)

So - 151 shots on a fill. I don't know what the velocity is - can't find my LED light pucks for the chronograph.
The noise and striking on my target butt makes me think they (33.95gr. RIFLE Thunder) are just over 500fps.
500fps would make these running 18.9fpe.
I think they might be in the trailer, in storage - oops!
Rifle Thunder pellets are made in Brazil and sold by D&Lairgun.com. They appear to have a complete line of pellets under the RIFLE brand.

That's a lot of shots. It gets expensive! 100 bar sounds low, but it seems to do OK power-wise.

Still making noise and not as quiet as I thought it would be, Tom. Ran the compressor down so I could shoot it indoors at the club and get a decent # of shots from a
3,000psi fill. That's all that is left in my 77cu fit. tank. I can increase it by 100psi, in about 10 minutes of running on my compressor, so I got it up to 3,200psi now.
When my wife is at the skit club, I run the compressor for 10 minutes, then shut it down, leaving the fan on to cool it down for 30 minutes, then another 10 minute
run for another 100psi. LOL - not having a big compressor sucks.
At the current setting, I should be able to get 100 shots from a 3,000psi fill on the rifle's tank, or I could just shoot it tethered, I guess.

Well, got out to the club yesterday afternoon for a couple hours. The guys said my rifle sounded like Rosy the Riveter's hammer.
I guess I was shooting quite quickly. I fired off a lot of shots - 6 targets similar to this. 76 groups, some 10 shot, most 5-shot groups.
This was done in 2 hours of shooting, I had filled the gun only 3 times to 230 bar and started with a full tank, ending up at 150 bar. Regulator
set at 100 bar and port on LOW.
A number of these 5-shot groups will not allow a .25 pellet to fall through the hole. Best performers were the FX 24.4gr. and JSB 24.39 grain RN's.
I was pleasantly surprised by Predator standard pellets, in that they shot very well (different target) and will be good for hunting, the Hades shot
nicely too.

Here's the 26gr. Predator Pellet target. Some are a little sloppy, some not so much.
I was shooting about as quickly as I could load/fire/load/fire etc without taking time to
settle into the position between shots. These rifles are VERY accurate. These are all 5 shot groups.
As usual, if I pulled the first shot (did that too) I chased the group. IIRC, these shot a bit low and left.
The largest group, C to C this page, is the one on middle target, left side. @ .492". Top target right side middle
group is .225" C to C and middle group left target top, is .207" C to C.

Great shooting! Just one question, at 100 bar reg setting, is there enough power for hunting? Especially for larger animals than a bird.

The pellets were getting down-range a lot faster than everyone else who was shooting sub-500fps rifles, springers as well as CO2.
My best accuracy was with 25.4gr. FX RN's, but the Predators and H&N hunters were also doing quite well, just not as consistently.
Remember, I was firing VERY rapidly and some of the 'dispersion' was due to this.
Let's say they were making 500fps - = 14fpe. Now, the .25 calibre, sub 12fpe rifle used by Davey in the UK, was smacking bunnies out to 60yards - DRT.
Dead Right There. Getting 150rounds from a fill (230bar) is rather nice when plinking. It would be a SMACKER on any birds or bunnies/field rats inside about 30yards.
I would step it up to max for ground hogs & maybe try the Hybrids at that power level for accuracy. I know Rolf in SAfrica was shooting Javelins in his Dreamline in the standard pellet barrel.
Different view of the rifle.

Finally got out to the range with the FX Dreamline, but only have my book notes - lost the chronograph page I wrote out the vel.
Suffice to say: With the hammer spring almost maxed out and the regulator set at 135bar, 26.54 gr. JSB Hades from a fill, port setting:
Low- 741fps Av.
Med - 854fpe Av. - 41fpe.
High - 808fps Av.
@ 50 M - 4 shots .462" 5 went .740" - pulled one.
----------9 shots .459" 10 went .905" - pulled one.
After shooting that one target, I was done walking out on top of 4feet of snow, uneven and sinking every other step as it was +9 and softening up
thus my target shooting was done quickly & I just shot over the chronograph.
I dare say, with more adjustment to the hammer spring I might get those speeds up a bit. I don't quite understand this, but seems to be a tuning thing.

Yes, they sure are. The side lever cycling is so smooth, even with the hammer spring cranked up.
The magazines all work perfectly as well, including the 10 shot (.25) 3-d'd magazines by this site's member "ineedpal".

Got out today, again, this time with the Aselkon and the FX Dreamline.
A pleasant surprise with Predator pellets.
They just don't hit close to the Hades, is all.
