Realistically, a regulator will only fill slowly the last hundred psi or so.... If you can't regulate the flow by just barely cracking the valve, it can be done with a tiny orifice on the inlet side of the valve, like Joe Brancato does on his valves.... The problem with those is that they are so tiny they are prone to getting blocked with a grain of dirt and then you can't drain the tank.... In fact I drilled out mine to give a faster flow and just regulate it with the valve.... Having said that, there is a new reg. out of Turkey I have not tried....

and of course you can get the large ones that look like a welding regulator (which are high flow) from Air Tanks Plus: https://airtanksplus.com/ as well.... or the ones from Brancato: http://www.airtanksforsale.com/ .... Most guys that shoot tethered use those type....

I do have adjustable regulated filling stations on my website, though they are out of stock for another week or so.

The other fill station I have has a tiny orifice like Bob was mentioning about a different fill station which allows you to fill the rifle slowly, so even though it's not regulated it is easy to stop in time.

The threads are different on scuba tank than on a PCP bottles. The scuba tanks have 2 threads and the PCP bottles have 2 different threads. I don not know of a bushing from 0.750-14 NPS to 18 mm.

There are two different threads for scba tanks (after the valve) depend what valve is installed, internal and external.
The internal thread is called DIN 303 or 304 if any inserts also most scuba tanks have this DIN as well, the external thread is called CGA347.
I have both, but for a DIN connector I have the Huma Air externally adjustable regulator. This what I am using for tethering when shooting larger volume from a bench.

There is also Altaros, that is inline with a fill hose, also well respected by EU airgunners.

And there are some USA made regulators at an elevated costs.
