I don't know, but the way I feel it the Lib. are making us believe that we win by removing those amendment. But C21 is still there. As long as C21 will be alive, we are at risk at any moments.

C21 as it is, must die, if not G46 will come back later to haunt us :evil:

Well we get to keep our semi auto hunting rifles? Ain't that nice!

When and if the Conservatives get back in, they will give us back our restricted handguns etc? :lol:

The day after they withdrew the amendments, they said they plan to bring them back in the future.

Well the 9th is almost over now, and I am in the same time zone as Ottawa, and it seemingly has not happened. If it did, I would surely know as I am in the CCFR facebook group, so at least that's good that they weren't re-introduced.

Yeah - saw that. Could not post the rest of my reply.
This was also in the report. I feel THEY will make a new amendment at some point, to include all firearms made previously to C21.

:VERY IMPORTANT:

According to Public Safety Canada, this technical definition would cover firearms designed and manufactured after Bill C-21 comes into force; it would not affect the classification of existing firearms in the Canadian market.

This made gun control advocates very angry, and they even held a press conference of their own to express their anger at these new amendments and measures. They went as far as declaring they would no tparticipate in the CFAC committee, if called upon by the Liberals, calling it useless, and citing their participation in a previous CFAC that led to nothing."
