I'm going to be purchasing a Umarex T4E Glock 17 Gen 5 .43cal from AirgunSource, in Peterborough tomorrow morning.

I see a couple of the faster shipping options appear to be Canada Post Priority, or Fedex Ground.

Does anyone have any opinion on which option would be better? Under normal circumstances I'd just go with Canada Post Priority or even Xpresspost, but given that it's the xmas season would Fedex be a more reliable option given the potential for canada post to be delayed?

FedEx has always been the fastest of all of the couriers no matter what or where I was ordering from. At least from my experience.
Canada Post was always the most economical and UPS is the ABSOLUTELY WORST!! I will cancel any order if UPS is the only option for shipping.
Just my two cents worth.

Same here, rachetman. UPS in Canada is not my shipper, for anything. I made that mistake - once. Anything I order from the States, has to come USPS, never UPS, as
UPS Canada will get it, then charges brokerage fees up to 33% of the declared value of the item. Some US companies use only UPS as down there, UPS will pick up orders
- I do not order from those outfits- ever.

Yeah.... Have no idea but I know that's difficult to earn such a bad reputation like UPS did... Looks they never shipped anything good... My own experiences (maybe twice or 3 times... Too carelessly on check out...) And what I heard and read all tell the something that how bad UPS can be....

Well, I made the purchase early this morning, not long after 2AM, only option it let me choose was Fedex Ground, and well it's already in transit and expected to come in tomorrow.

So let's see if that happens. I know there's supposed to be some historic storm coming, but hopefully it doesn't until the night, or friday.

Not really, but I have also never used Fedex before. From now on I will know that Fedex is a good option if available.

My FX came from the same place, across Canada to BC by Canada Post - NP, and likely cheaper than Fed X.
Fed X is good, but usually expensive in comparison.

I had something shipped to me during the scamdemic and it arrived UPS even though the seller said USPS.
They left it at the door, as they were not doing signatures at that time. They sent me a bill for way more than the $10.00 item I purchased. I told them I know nothing about this. Please provide a copy of the signed waybill. No more invoice.

UPS Canada attempted to charge a fellow employee (BC Corrections Branch) $1,500.00 for brokerage fees for his Marlin mount from California.
He asked them if they "had it at the warehouse in PG". They acknowledged yes. He wanted to see it first but they could not find it, but guaranteed
it was "there" and he needed to pay his bill. He asked them how they got a copy of the custom's declaration & they asked him why he wanted to
know. He advised them it was already mounted on his living room wall and had been for 1 month. Go figure. It came to him via Canadian Freightways
and a different US trucking company and had nothing to do with UPS (States), or UPS Canada.

Sounds about right.
