So, my barrel is called a super light barrel. The Steve Scialli video Dreamline has the conventional smooth twist barrel.

Mine is the Smooth Twist X, so full length rifling. Is yours not rifled full length - thought it was from the picture you posted.
Yes - yours appears to also be a Smooth Twist X.

Here's another FX barrel types video. My barrel is the Super Light system where the barrel sleeve and the threaded barrel tip that put the barrel in compression are not present. The barrel is fixed in one end and centrally located within the shroud by the two harmonic spacers.

I thought that was a well done video. Seems to have solved some questions, as when he was talking about the various "methods" of improving accuracy.

I was thinking about one of the tuners, but will hold off now.
A fellow I used to shoot 3-position with, had a light barreled small calibre (.222) rifle he used. He had a lead Cylinder about 2" long and 1 1/2" in diameter, set-screwed onto his
rifle's barrel. He would load for the speed he wanted (most .222 loads are quite accurate), then he would test it, moving the lead up and down the barrel, about 1/8" per group
and pick the spot that gave the best grouping. This was mid 1970's.

I received some 18.13gr JSB Heavy pellets from Wes, immediately it is apparent that this pellet is the one for my gun. I tried it on the factory 30 fpe set up as well as the 20 fpe set up. It just shoots beautifully out of my Dreamline.
Here are the tunes:
1. 30 fpe, reg setting 125 bar, 18.13gr at 870 fps. Shot count is around 50 shots. 200 bar fill.
2. 20 fpe, reg setting 105 bar, 18.13gr at 702 fps. Shot count is over 80 shots. 200 bar fill.
The spread is around 20 fps, very consistent. Transfer port setting on medium. Hammer spring adjusted.

Cool! - I've noticed mine, at close range (10yds.) doesn't move poi when it goes off the regulator & just keeps plunking them into the same hole, on the 2nd Mil-dot crosshair.

Hi Daryl,

I also noticed that the two pressure gauges do not read the same for the reg setting, meaning at the set pressure, my main gauge will read at least 10 bar lower. One word of caution is that they say if you continue to shoot below reg setting. The reg maybe damaged. So, other than doing a complete shot string, I try not to shoot below that.

I think my setting is about 135psi. I do get at least 48 shots on Medium and whatever my hammer spring is set at. LOL
If the port is set on low, I get 60 shots+.

I was surprised the shot count went up, as the regulator wasn't changed and I figured the same amount of air would be used, no matter what the port opening was set at.

What did yoy get with Highloerr setting on the transfer port? My understanding is
that the High setting is for 25 caliber or larger. My gun is 22 cal in 20 fpe, Medium setting is the best, actually using High Settingg will result in lower fps than using Medium.
