The lower speed on high setting has occurred with 2 different .25 cal Dreamlines as well, the young fellow who does the tuning videos with the
barreled action off the stock and the fellow with is wife who does testing on or sponsored by Pyramid Air.
I have not chronographed mine yet, been too lazy to set it up, so far.

What did yoy get with Highloerr setting on the transfer port? My understanding is
that the High setting is for 25 caliber or larger. My gun is 22 cal in 20 fpe, Medium setting is the best, actually using High Settingg will result in lower fps than using Medium.

On my Dreamline (in .25 Cal) it has 3 settings for transfer port. Low, .177/.22 and .25/.30
Must be a newer setup to what you seem to have.

Yeah, mine has High, Medium, Low.
High is useless in my case. Right now, Medium gives 20 fpe, Low gives 11.5 fpe.Image

That is not a bad combination of power. You could do all three divisions in FT with that one rifle, using the low power for WFTF Division.

Shot mine yesterday on LOW and got, from just barely over 3,300psi fill(230bar), 58 shots down to the regulator set at 135bar.
One of these days, I might set up the chronograph to see what it's doing at the various settings. Seems to me, the hammer is
just off the max blow by about a full turn.

WFTF is wishful thinking on my part, my gun is capable but my stiff body does not allow it.[emoji24]

I think I best stay with Hunter for now. If that doesn't cut it anymore, switch to Open and try my luck.

Thanks,

Tom

That is the fun part of tuning a PCP. What do you get at Medium setting? Much more power with little lost in shot count?

I just did the low test again, from 3,300psi(227.5 Bar) down to 135 Bar (1,958psi) - when set on LOW - got 77 shots.
Re-filled to 3,300psi (227.5Bar) down to 135 Bar (1,958psi) set on Medium - got consistently 58 shots. Did it 3 times
good thing I was given 2 tins of pellets. LOL
I will re-do the experiment on HIGH.
EDITED:
1st test on HIGH, from the same 3,300psi load out, I got 63 shots, which is interesting - at least. It does make a bit more noise at that setting.
So- shot count appears to be pretty good.

That's great! Of course, with good accuracy too.

I'll pick some up after new years, I guess. My brother and a close friend tried to use it as a gun oil after cleaning their muzzleloading rifles during a humid time and their rifles were rusted

It is water soluble, so makes a very poor rust protector. If used as a solvent, it should be fine for O rings.

90 shots @ 20fpe - WOWZER!!!!!

My thoughts also That is outstanding
That gun is regulated Right ?

An update on my Dreamline. I used it in the first fun FT match last weekend at Port Colborne. It performed much better than my expectations.
Shooting Hunter Class with an unsupported monopod while sitting on my stool. I missed knock down only 3 times.
Can't wait for a regular FT match at HAHA this coming Saturday to prove it again. All this time I tought this loopy 22 cal can't compete with my 177 cal. I was proven wrong.ImageImage
