I plan to install a Vortek PG4 HO tune kit in my new Diana 54. This is my first Diana gun and have never dismantled it . I have installed one in my TX 200 , HW97K and Beeman R9 and feel they greatly improve the overall performance of the guns. Unfortunately I am not overly mechanically inclined, what a curse.
In stripping down the 54, should I have some dummy pins to put into the trigger as I take it out? I think I noticed this on one of the very l few U tube that shows this procedure. Is there anything that I should be particularly concerned about?
Thanks

Sorry I cannot help with this take-down, all I can do is suggest a VERY clean work place and SPOT/location for parts in order of removal.

Do you have a spring compressor? With a 54, you will be working with a lot of preload compared to a TX. Things could go flying when that spring is released if you do not have something to prevent that.
