I have an older Shoebox.

I will be needing some replacement parts. Does anyone know a source for these? I've heard varying guesses but no solid answers; I've also been told the Shoebox is kaput. Don't know . . . . . I've been absent from shooting for a few years and am not up on the latest fill methods and compressors.

As I'm shooting again, I'd like to know alternate sources of reasonably priced compressors so I can fill my tanks. I have a Hill pump but use that only for keeping my Talons at 2600 psi where they are the most accururate. Could never fill a 3000psi level from scratch . . . too old and weak lol.

Thanks.

I haven't had a Shoebox apart, but have repaired Yong Heng and Tuxing.

Have you diagnosed your compressor to determine the fault(s)?

Where are you located?

Hi Gordo - nice talking to you earlier - all the fixin's are in the pressure cooker- got few min. now.
This is the site I was telling you about: I've bought 4 guns, buncha scopes and other stuff including my compressor, pellets, etc, from Wes. He's been good to deal with.

It appears this one is in stock, the newer version of the one I have.
Today, right now according to my app "Currency Plus" it's $649.34 cdn. + shipping, etc.

Normk

I am located in Prince George BC

The parts I have to order are a maintenance kit that contains parts that have to be replaced in the piston unit every 20 hours of use or so.

I have never replaced them, and so far I've been lucky after about 30 hours of use.

The unit has been in mothballs for the 4 years that I have not been shooting, and I want to get rolling again. I'm a mechanical moron so I have described as much as I know, which isn't much.

I'll be setting up the compressor in the next week or so. I still have about 3000 psi in my Joe Brancato Guppy, and my Talons are most accurate
at 2600 psi so I should be good for another couple of refills and a few days of shooting. I have a couple of springers to play with if the unit will not work after being in mothballs for 4 years.

thanks

If you take the cover off of your compressor the pump will something like this one. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004535316157.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.757e7183o6TTFj&algo_pvid=2ec9360e-b334-4f99-88d8-6ba7fc5aac12&algo_exp_id=2ec9360e-b334-4f99-88d8-6ba7fc5aac12-11&pdp_ext_f=%7B%22sku_id%22%3A%2212000029509135937%22%7D&pdp_npi=2%40dis%21CAD%2145.27%2140.75%21%21%21%21%21%402101f49e16727150240472291e6d33%2112000029509135937%21sea&curPageLogUid=9ikJzlvqjlxR I have come across about 4 different looking replacement pumps for the shoe box compressors. Take a picture of the pump and post it, I may have a new one for you on the shelf.

Hey hey
Robert

Thanks Robert. Digging the old girl out of mothballs . . . I think I have a line on the part and will let everybody know how it works out asap. . . .

In the mean time, I'm shooting my Weirauch springers.
