Tested a few different pellets this time, all at 10 yards in my basement.
I was quite surprised at the results which show difference at this close range.
The poorer performers were JSB PolyMag 16gr. standard and 15.89gr. shorts as well as
FX Hybrids @ 22gr. and second best were H&H Barracuda Hunters. The best performers
at this close range were H&H Barracuda Hunter Extremes at 19.09gr.
Targets shot resting the forend on the toweled chair back in front of me. Not very steady
but usable.

Targets shot.
I got a little sloppy on the 4th target on the bottom one.
Also surprising was the elevation the 22gr. Hybrids printed at the same sight setting
as the others. The normal waisted pellets pretty much shot to the same POI.
That rifle's BEST pellet is the Hades. I am saving them for hunting. OH- the bottom target
(picture)was all H&H Barracuda Hunter Extremes at 19.09gr. 5 groups. All groups, BTW are 5 shots.

Isn't it great being an adult and choosing to shoot inside the house? My wife would shoot me. HaHaHa

Strange how a brand of pellets are subpar at 10M yet be stellar at 30M?

My wife skis in the winter time. She also teaches skiing.- Cross country classic and skating. When she isn't home, I shoot in the basement.
I didn't shoot the Hades this time. They ran just over 1/4" at 30 meters, so I'm saving them for this summer's fun around the lake.
That is THE pellet for this rifle. The ones that shot well at 10 meters, also do not too badly at range, just not close enough to the
Hades to be of use.
Those other, heavier pellets (18gr. to 21gr.) really shoot well out of my PP700S-A out to 20 yards & make form 408fps to 428fps MV.

I have shot out of my garage and into the backyard hitting targets too increase the shot distance....My neighbor questioned me a few times and said, "have you heard this repeated odd thump sound". I said no but next time you hear it, let me know. hahaha

I don't do it very often anymore.

I shoot in my 50ft basement range all the time. My backstop is a stainless tray filled with ductseal. I drew my own target on a letter size paper using circle template then scanned the page to be printed. My aim is always to shoot only the centre of the targets which are smaller than a Dime. On a good day, my shots stayed in the centres. Image

Good target. On both of my targets, the centres are .320" in diameter - so just barely over 5/16", side to side.
On your target, the vertical and horizontal lines would help with avoiding canting. THAT opens groups quickly.

I resemble that remark, Abs.
Spring is a busy time, though. Gotta get the trailer out of storage - tanks and lines bleached & loaded for the summer.
There might be "some" shooting time, though.
