Thanks, I was able to sell the original stock, 600mm barrel kit and some other parts to fund some of the project. The only thing left to buy is the FX no limit scope mounts. Almost time to shoot it over the chrony and tune the gun.

Not pretty but the hole is larger, hope the air can move through the plenum without so much restriction now.

I could have went more, I do not want the air to be restricted. The gun is all back together and everything seems to be working ok.

Did not have time to do a full shot string or any tuning, I just filled the gun and shot until I got a chrony reading.

1041fps with 25.4gr JSB
61 FPE
Reg just below 150 bar
Hammer spring almost maxed out

The hammer that comes with the gun weighs 13.2 grams. I removed the original hammer and installed a 14.5 gram hammer. Airgunsource has the tungsten hammers in stock so I grabbed one. The Tungsten hammer weighs 26.8 grams. I thought the tungsten hammers were for 800mm barrels but I read an advetisement from FX that they can be used on 700mm so I am going to try it out during the tuning process.

.22 cal? I see Mat D. likes the 40gr. slugs in his 700mm barreled Impact, but shoots 26gr. slugs in his short Impact.

The Tungsten hammer doesn't seem to be doing much.
Makes me wonder how that setup will shoot the Hybrids?

I agree with you about the tungsten hammer, I may be wasting air and that will also make the gun less accurate.

25 cal. 26gr. FX Hybrid slugs
1046 FPS
63 FPE

About wasting air - I need to pull the action out of the stock and reduce the hammer spring weight. It's almost maxed out but with reg. at 100 bar, I got 151 shots out of a fill.
Transfer port on on LOW. If I reduce the spring pre-load, I should get even more shots. I suspect at some point the velocity would be reduced, but not much I'd think.
Or was that count with the Condor? Now I'm confused. Oh no - both rifle's count is close concerning the Condor, but it has almost double the tank size & is running more power
of course.
