Hi I was chatting with the service rep for crossman and he said it’s ok to fill a non regulated pcp 100-300 psi over max fill of 3000 psi to get away from the Korean cliff shot curve and cause no harm to the gun at all.Only problem is that you could get valve lock but the Cayden Akela and Kratos have a grub screw at the foster fitting so you could just bleed off a little pressure and be fine again.Has anyone done any testing at a higher fill than max to get a shot string that is more curved and would a higher fill cause any damage to the cylinder by over filling in your opinion thanks again . I was also told that the guns are proved at over double that psi anyways .

Did he say how many times you could do that? Did he say it was safe, or good practice? It may get around the bell curve but I wouldn't make a habit of it. If you want no bell curve, get a regulated tube and never fill above max pressure. :drinkers:

Thanks Duke, it’s the bell curve I would like to achieve I get about 32 full power shots with power adjuster full open and hammer spring at 6+1/2 turns in preload or 50% preload as there are 12 full turns with bolt open to coil bind. The es in the first two clips 24 shots are within a few feet apart they the third clip is abut 3% then after 36 shots the es drops a lot so that’s where I refill not bad for an unregenerate pcp right? Are all pcp cylinders steel as mine is steel ?

Just don't leave it in a hot car. There should be at least a 25% safety factor in the tube.
