I've been investigating, or more accurately reinvestigating higher magnification scopes for 100 meter PCV and 250 meter .22 LR shooting.

Reinvestigating because I shot competitive bench rest, long range varmint shooting, competitive paper, etc. a number of decades ago.
I'm finding that 3/4 of a century has "recalibrated" many things, unfortunately.

I looked for a 24x AO scope to compare clarity and other factors to the Hawke AirMax 4-12x50 AO scopes which we have on our CZ457LRP .22 LR rifles and found SVBONY SV178 6-25x50AOE scopes on Amazon @ $125.00 CDN with one-day free delivery.

It looks to be very decent, especially at the price, in comparison at the range. It wasn't mounted as I wanted to compare and be able to return if it obviously didn't measure up.

It looks good enough to try and keep around so mounted it to the same zero with camlock scope rings, and will try next week in swap and compare to the AirMax.

At worst it can sit on the cabinet until there's a need.

Has anyone compared SVBONY optics?

I have seen people comparing svbony spotting scope against higher end vortex razor, they are pretty decent for its price. As for rifle scope, i think they will probably good enough bec. there's a lot of good OEM company that does rifle scope and AO scope is so common now that everyone is putting their brand name to it and sell it as an entry level.

I have a 3-12X44 AO SVbony. My range is south facing, once I put the sun shade on, I had nothing to complain about. It is one of my scopes that when I take off one gun it goes right on another. Basic mil dot reticle.

These scopes came up on my Amazon feed on Friday a $88.19. I could not turn it down. Normk gave me recommend to buy in a PM a while back.
