I'm a Leafs fan, at least I'm an original six and not a bandwagon jumper.

I'm running out of time and would really like to see the Leafs win another cup! :drinkers:

I loved the way they would put in Eddie Shack to rough 'em up (60's).

"Clear the track here comes Shack." He was the legend entertainer and always will be.

I saw them win their last cup in 1967. To this day they still lead the league with the second most Stanley Cups.

Lanny McDonald made his entry into the Leafs. Played junior with the Medicine Hat Tigers and room and board at my uncle and aunt's home.
Stayed true to the Leafs but watched every Flames game I could to watch King Lanny.

I can remember watching a Toronto/Detroit game in Toronto when Eddie Shack was up to his old tricks and put a Detroit player down on the ice. The crowd went wild with Shack waving to them and having a great time at centre ice. Gordie Howe casually skated past the rear of Shack and the next thing we saw was Shack on the ice - to this day I do not know how or what Howe did, but Shack surely knew the result - LOL!

Yup good ol Tiger, I watched him play juniors for the Swift Current Bronco's back in 1970?

The tuff guy's for the Medicine Hat Tigers were Jim McCrimmon and the Gassoff boys. McCrimmon tuned the Tiger on many occasions. Those were the brutal days of hockey.

HaHaHa yup, Ol Shack was a hit, duck and hide.....I remember players putting the chase on him many times. Shank could chuck em to but he had to be mad. Usually he was the instigator and would laugh as he was doing it. Big Clown!
