Hello everyone,

I'm hoping you can assist me in figuring out an issue as there seems to be a scarcity of information regarding the older Weihrauch HW30, also known as the first generation MK1 HW30. I've heard that this older model had a different rail width compared to the current HW30S.

I have attached a picture of Sports Match mounts, and I'm wondering if they would fit properly on the old MK1 HW30. It's worth noting that the gun in question does not even have the 'Rekord' trigger yet; instead, it has the 'Perfekt' trigger, leading me to believe it's the MK1 version.

EDIT: I've been told this HW30 is from the early 80s.

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

If the 11 millimeter ring won't fit the dovetail, ie: won't tighten, then you need 3/8" rings.
11mm is .4331", while 3/8" is .375"(9.525mm).

You are correct.
The older HWs had a 13MM rail, and the 11MM scope rings will not work out very well.
The newer guns have the 11MM rails.

As i mentioned recently in a different thread, I had a Slavia 631 and it also had a wide scope rail I bought these from AGS and they fit well. they are out of stock at AGS ATM, but that's what you'll need for a 13mm rail.
