I was having a "blonde" moment. The true cross hairs aren't moving. It holds zero though the range. It's that the height of the scope didn't allow me to get the true crosshairs on the right plane of sight. I was using one of the mildot hash marks, they do change elevation with zoom changes, the way they are supposed to.

We all have those moments. The angle between the scope and the barrel is the issue. The adjustable mount will take care of all of that. Have fun and keep us posted on your progress please.

Back a number of years, they made mounts and scope risers with droop, that compensated for a barrel that had droop, like the TX. I have a droop riser on one of my guns that brings the POI up to an acceptable level. I don't think anyone makes them anymore. May be wrong, but the one piece adjustable does the same thing. Be sure to tighten everything on the adjustable riser once you have it set properly. A torque driver will help with that so the screws do not get stripped.

I looked at your scope in the pic you posted; that is a very large bell. Wondering if the adjustable mount will allow clearance. If my rings are not high enough for clearance, I use a riser to get it up higher. The link below shows one, but the price seems a little high.

It has a 4" sunshade on it in the picture. I think it would likely be fine with an adjustable mount.

Fingers crossed, but if not, you have an option.
