Thanks Guys , for the welcome, i would like to know what
type of vermin you are allowed to shoot in Canada, and the types of airguns
used , power levels , as we are restricted in England to sub 12fpe airguns,
above that level you need a firearms licence from the Police,
i only shoot sub 12fpe airguns both springers & pcp,s,
my prey--- Rats, rabbits, grey squirrels, crows, feral pigeons,
i shoot all calibres and own them all.

We have three gun licenses (classes of firearms) here:

Non-restricted

Restricted

Prohibited

Non-restricted and Restricted is very easy to get provided you can pass the RCMP requirements.....As far as Prohibited goes, chances are very unlikely a new comer wanting to acquire guns will ever get this designation.

Prohib. licenses were only issued to people who had possession of guns that were legally obtained and registered, that later became prohibited and were "Grandfathered" to those owners, as far as I know.
It is impossible (AFAIK) to become a prohibited firearms owner today.

You are 100% correct. In addition, a prohibited firearm could be passed down to their son after death. I'm not sure if that is true anymore? Also, A prohibited gun can only be in possession of and can never be fired, even at a registered firing range.

If you find yourself in the Upper Fraser Valley, you have an invitation to shoot at our range.

The only concern is that it will be necessary to conceal your nationality from my Welsh family.
