Has anyone else experienced this? I have a no-name hand pump that came with my Hatsan I bought used. Today it got very hard to pump. It spit the cotton filter out through the quick connect.

Lol, dad always said I could break an anvil.

I guess I need a new pump. It won't build pressure now.

Any suggestions on a pump that I can get more than three fills put of?

Dad used to call me Goon, I broke shovels, picks, axes and was an aggressive hockey player.

I went with a JTS air compressor combo that uses AC or booster cables so I can use my truck battery out in the field. Not cheap but it sure is nice and easy.

I don't plan on shooting the pcp much. I bought 3 decent springers. I just had never shot a pcp and figured I should have one. So far I like the springers much more. The pcp while being easy to shoot, when I'm actually shooting it, seems to be more complicated to fill and get to shoot consistently.

I'm looking for another hand pump that will hopefully work for the one or two times a month I might decide to shoot the pcp.

Too be honest, I like the springers the best it must be the recoil we crave. I luv my PCP especially the 10 round mag and the power adjuster is a nice touch when shooting inside buildings.

I found this guy to be a wealth of knowledge. Sometimes expensive is not always the best. The cheapy pumps easier and faster.
