I was at the range on Wednesday, first 50 m then 100M range, with 2 guns and both with 6-24X50. The Cabela's Covenant scope was crystal clear, all the way to full power, the other at 100m full power was terrible but it was a cheap scope I got second hand for $50.

When I got home I got to the tube to do some research. I was looking for something equivalent to the Covenant, as it was $250+ tax. Which the only con is the focus wheel toughness to turn. There were 4 factors high power (X24 +) multiple good reviews, great price and availability. The final review that hooked was the Cyclops review of the Vector 8-32X50 and it was in stock at Amazon for $220 plus $20 shipping. I ordered it, should be here in early April US dealer.

I thought about it that night and decided to order a second one, BAM. There was a price jump of $73.70 and shipping Increase of $17.

I hope the scope meets my expectations, the new price may still be deal.

Have great day all
Robert

You got a good price. The Vector would cost you even more from AliExp.

At $169.15US = 232.66 Cdn, you'd likely be better off ordering it from WesB @ airgunarcheryfun.
I have a couple of those from him - nice scopes.

I checked Wes before I ordered, he didn't have stock of the 8-32X50.

I have noticed that couple years ago that amazon have some sort of algorithm, based on search clicks it starts raising the price.
The other thing I started hating with amazon - no full specs about some higher quality items I want - minimum parallax for example - I need to do an extensive research first somewhere else and only then check with amazon if available within acceptable price range.
The next I am very angry with amazon... I have a Canadian account but that means you actually have the US account as well automatically. And the US amazon got hacked twice...in 2021 somebody purchased 14 Prime video memberships and last summer again the amazon.com automatically charged me the US Prime renewals I never used... and a "make you stupid" game starts with refunds, neither side of the border takes responsibility for mistakes, but yes they refund eventually.
If I have time usually I directly order from China, if I need my items faster I buy amazon...but lately they became a real junky selling just any garbage from cheap to expensive.

In my eyes the x32 power is about a borderline for shooting 100 meters. I like to see the hole edges how the projectile is chewing the paper.
I was always amazed with people - long range shooters, especially with firearms 400-500-600 meters how da H they can shoot with a x16 or x25 power. That must be a $2-3 K scope and plus must use a $2-3K spotting scope to see the POI...Then WTH.... get a good scope for your application at a first place.

I had many scopes in the past and chose higher powers possibly Japanese glass. Unfortunately I had never enough money for German glass... I have learned that even the so popular Sightrons in x50 getting blur after 40-45 power, and sold all of them that cannot perform at max power.

My last biggest scope purchase couple years ago - I asked Rhea (JoeWayneRhea) @ AGN, he recommended me the Falcon X50 and I am very happy with it, I can zoom in to a max power and the image doesn't loosing the clarity.

Shopping now again for a dedicated BR scope and after 3 years I dig out he's email and ask him again, I cannot get that scope from US here to Canada without paying for a middle man $300...and that is a no go for me.
