My compressor that I ordered April 7 th 2023, arrived today, from Aliexpress shipping included. The 110v power pack was included.

Compressor $147.47 CAD
Ups Brokerage, tax $37.61

I had a .45l tank that was at 1700 psi that I used as the test. It took 7'23" to get it 3000 psi Start temp was 13 C and end temp was 44 C. Max temp 95 C. The unit is much smaller than I thought

Wow, looks like a nice machine. And it sure works out of the box.
I think this design with the external power supply helps keep the internals cool, and of course the unit is smaller and lighter, you don't have to lug the PS around if you are going to charge from your car battery in the field. :drinkers:

.47 liters = 450 cc's or 27.5 cu. inch. 7 minutes 23 seconds I assume?
Quite inexpensive.

Incredibly low priced. How loud was it? Would be a convienient item to put in the car/truck for away from home shooting.

Have this compressor and it works very well. I paid 3x that though. still based on diveshop min 20 bucks per fill and 5 bucks of gas and time wasted it owes me nothing. saved me more than the cost of it. So for filling guns it is great. And you can run it off the car. Good deal at 600 at 200 ish it is a steal.

The paint-ball place I was filling a 60 cu in tank at, years ago went from $10.00 per fill to $30.00 per fill. I stopped
at that one "surprise" fill.
The reason for the charge increase, was that they were charging the paint-ball shooters $10.00 for their little tanks
on their paint-ball guns and mine was at least 3 times larger. That I only got one full fill from it, as well as a few partials
did not matter - to them. That's when I switched to nitrogen, then when the price for that doubled, I bought a compressor
from WesB.
Robert, does that compressor have an interior water filter?

That looks like a "sideways" version of my GS CX3, or like my friend's Tuxing.

He ran his compressor beyond the duty cycle which melted the high pressure sealing rings. Rather than to source the rings, he bought a complete cylinder assembly, IIRC from AliExpress.

If anyone is interested in photos of the internals, I can load them to Dropbox and post a link.

I haven't had my GS apart, so only have external photos at this time. The GS appears to be almost completely different internals from the Tuxing, FWIW.

A very different setup than a Yong Heng, for example.

Mine has a glacial pumping rate compared to a Yong Heng, but fine to take to the range.

BTW, unlike most DC electric motors, the GS seems not to run faster on 14.6 VDC than on the (supplied) power supply's 13.2 VDC

CS3 Measurements and tests
Power from converter:
Fan draw (not pumping) 2.3 Amps DC 13.2 Volts
Pumping no load 15.1 Amps
Pumping under ~3,000 PSI load 20.5 Amps

From vehicle battery @14.6VDC load pumping 21.7 Amps

120 VAC draw
Compressor off 0 Amp AC
Compressor switch on 0.2 Amp AC
Compressor no load pumping 1.6 Amp AC
Compressor pumping load ~3,000 PSI 2.1 Amp AC

If you have any internal photos, even with endoscope, I would appreciate seeing them.

Now a days more and more PCPs can use 250bar (about 3600psi) fills, will you try to see how well it works for this?

And I concern about the top temperature at 95 degrees... Is that normal or high? How long did it stay at such a temperature? And anyway we can do to lower it down? (use a fan to blow it on aside? I heard ppl use iced water cooling but I concern about moisture too so I will try my best to stay away of any possibility to add moisture in the environment....)

This is my pump collection, both of my YH are the simple version without the middle stage separator. I catch a lot of water in the empty filter housing that is laid horizontal before the vertical sieve filter. I drain it once per day. I just need a tank

I took the cover off the 12 v. I already have a replacement cylinder and crank for the unit from a previous project. 2 cooling fans, fans are louder than the pump action.

That really looks very good~ looks the 95 degrees must be in a hot summer and heavy work loads~

The YH looks just too big to this shoe-box one~

Can it do higher pressure like 250 bar fillings?!

If it seems too good to be true....
Not in your case, It seems you got a deal. But I was searching through Ali and I came across this... got all excited and was ready to throw caution to the wind... then the fine print: it's a very expensive 12V power supply! Doh.

Max pressure for the shoe box is 30 mpa. In a small tank gun it will be ok at high pressure, max run time in the manual is 30 min. I plan to take it on the next range day.

Using the Xisico I bought from WesB, it takes only a few minutes to fill any of my gun's tanks at the range, from about 1,000psi back up to the top
whether that is 2,900psi(200bar) or up to 3,625psi(250bar).
I haul a smallish, Subaru battery with me for power. That's handier for me than going back out to the truck to fill using one of it's batteries.

Thanks for posting this, McRobert. Is this unit still avail from Aliexpress? If so, is the price about the same as what you paid?
