Reduce hammer spring tension, will reduce the noise as it will reduce the amount of air discharged at each shot.
This will also reduce the speed.
Adjusting the regulator down will also reduce the noise and speed.

Any attachment that reduces the noise, is called a noise suppressor or "silencer", by the criminal code.

A PCP usually can be 'fine tuned' for lower noise, higher efficiency and higher shot counts... It needs time and patient and lots of testing shots... Hope you can find some usually videos to follow... The factory stock setting is always not the best setting for the gun (or for your own need)

My M11 mk2 is tuned to 495 fps in .22 cal. It's the quietest gun I have, maybe a close second to my Daisy 853. So, try what Daryl suggested, and you tube it as per YepYep, turn down the regulator and back off the hammer and see how it improves the noise. You should be able to get a nice quiet rifle you can use and enjoy. Max power will likely be very loud.

Quite simple. A barrel shroud that silences the report is illegal. None of the legal guns have sound reducing shrouds. The Maruder was one of them that was built with a sound reducing shroud. It was illegal as that variant. later it was modified by the manufacturer for sale in Canada. A shroud that does not extend beyond the muzzle will look cool, but not silence the gun and is totally legal. But you want to reduce the noise so you can not add anything to the gun to make it quieter. Your only recourse is to detune it and not waste air.

Bob explains it pretty well in this article.
It will take some manufacturing to fit a SSG neatly into a M11, maybe try with a SSS first and see if it quiets the barrrp.

Before processing a SSG or SSS, we need to make sure if the gun is wasting air... Usually the sign will be it barking louder but didn't increase the speed...

You can hear significant difference when I PCP shooting a pellet out or just dry fire... So you will know if the pellet already left the muzzle and there's still high pressure air comes out behind the pellet, that excessive air will be making loud noise...

If your gun's power is increasing with the report gets louder... It just loud and you couldn't do much to quiet It down except you want less power or go illegal...

If the gun just wasting air because the hammer striking too hard... Just turn the hammer spring a little bit down to make it more efficient... SSG/SSS is way too far away for just a handy man to reach...

ya theres a huge diffrence between dry fire and a pellet so does that mean theres extra air being wasted? so ur saying my airgun should sound the same with and without a pellet when shooting?

Nope~

When excessive wasted air comes out after the pellet leaving the muzzle, the air will make the unnecessary loud noise and it's just like you dry fire the PCP gun... However it won't be that loud because its not a full power dry firing...

In prefect condition, the air you set which just enough to push the pellet out, the gun will be sounding much quiter... That's what you suppose to get with a good tune up.

It still depends on you need to exhaust all the power of your gun or you are satisfied with the current output but want to make the gun working more efficiently...

I don't think so.
A good regulator in working order just give you consistent pressure behind it, nothing related to noise level and power of the gun.

(of course, you set the pressure lower, and it will help you keep the power down then the noise will definitely lower than when it in higher power output...)
