After more than enough personal research and recommendations I decided to jump into PCP both feet.
Purchased rifle and spent more than rifle cost on upkeep/charging accessories.
Rifle lasted for 20 shot then dead will no longer hold a charge.
What an experience breaking into PCP, a dead gun and accessories worth more than gun I have zero use for now.
1500.00 for gun and accessories that I get 20 shots, then failure.
If this is what owning a PCP is all about I wished I'd never wasted my time or money.
Buying experience and customer service exceptionally great, sadly a product that fails after five minutes of use leaves little desire or confidence in ownership..
Think I'm done with PCP as fun factor rates well below zero with a monetary cost of disappointment and frustration high.

What rifle are you referring to?

Personally this experience is all part of your ‘growing’ airgun wisdom. Sad I know but now it’s time to learn the internals as you would have to eventually replace all seals sooner or later. Most PCP I’ve worked on haven’t been complicated, you just have to take picture before hand and as you go if your worried.

The guys and gals here are amazing help.

Maybe a bit too quick to come to conclusions. Bad orings happen even on top end pcp's. Try servicing the bad oring(s) and see how it goes. If your pcp did not come with spares orings are cheap and easy to source.

As previously asked, which pcp did you buy?

Where is Bantario? If you are near Kingston I could take a look at it for you. Like others said, probably just an O-ring. If I gave up on any of my PCP because of a leak I wouldn't have any either. :drinkers:

I'm a user/operator, not an airgun smith.
I purchased a PCP to actually shoot and enjoy, not take apart and fix after five minutes of use.
If fixing a gun after one use is part of PCP ownership, I have no interest whatsoever to be involved in.
I appreciate the helpful information, but I have absolutely no desire to take apart and attempt to fix a new product.
As I've already stated my purchasing and customer service has been beyond greatness, I'm thankful for that.
No hard feelings to all involved, but owning a PCP for me has been a costly journey
of disappointment, frustration with zero enjoyment.

It is likely something simple to fix.

I wouldn’t get discouraged that quickly. Just contact the seller and explain the situation and see if they’ll have it shipped back and repaired on their dime. It’s a new rifle, surely there should be some sort of warranty.

Knowing how to use and knowing how to fix and repair are not the same.
Imagine yourself buying a brand new vehicle and the trans fall out 5 min down the road. Or how about purchasing a brand new scope and the retical breaks after 20 shots? To bad you didn't know how to use it.....really?

I'm not here to bash anybody, I'm only here to give my personal experience of pcp ownership. As others have suggested it's probly a simple fix, if so why cant the manufacturer simply get it right? So this really leaves the end user question the product, if it last twice as long once it's fixed I might get 40 shots before it breaks again....no thanks that's not why I purchased a pcp.
Cheers

im not trying to bash anyone either if you bought it new it should work like new yes but im saying you should also know how to repair and maintain it and change oring or whatever does it not have some type of warranty...what exactly is wrong with the rifle? theres tons of people on this forum who can get it up and running again... maybe its some type of user error...what if you buy a new car and the tire pops your going to give back the whole car? maybe its as easy as changing a tire...

After trying many things and filling the gun numerous times the air pukes out the muzzle, dumping a full charge in a few hours.
No where in all my research or recommendations was I ever informed that I first need to be able to fix and repair a pcp if I own one. To even suggest that that pcp owner must first be able to fix and repair new gun before buying one is just absurd imo. With that kind of perspective there must be millions of vehicle owners that have no business owning a car if they can't fix it themselves...
