When pesting and hunting I always use a digital scope, in the bottom right corner of the scope is the cross slope gauge. When I bring the gun up on the sand bag or field hold a quick glance down will give me the ability to true the gun. If I tilt the gun, I will see a flicker of the cross slope gauge changing and I can easily up right the gun. As seen in this pic

I went to the range the other day and forgot my bipods. I usually use the top rail of the target bars, with scope on low Zoom to bring the gun level with the adjusting leg bipod. With no bipod and no level on the scope I had a dismal day shooting. I just slapped the glue targets on my board willy-nilly so I had no reference at full zoom. The best I could do was 2 inches at 50m with each gun, where these guns are consistent 3/4" at 50m. As a full member at my range, I get the pic of the bench and had the new ridged bench at each location.

Dose anyone use the scope levels?https://airgunarcheryfun.ca/bubble-level-30mm/ I plan to buy a few if I get some positive feed back.

Thanks guys and galls
Robert

I actually tried some of these levels, different designs, and (said) different functions Etc... However actually at the end, I didn't use any of them....

The main inconvenience could be hard to find a good spot to put it on which I don't need to move my eye out from the sight picture to check the level...

Your digital sight feature is very good! But not cheap, right?! :)

Maybe easier to find some reference on your sigh picture like a tree, skyline etc...

Unless you have a REALLY high scope mount you have to cant a whole lot to double group size at 50m.

Canting can screw up the point of impact, especially at long range, or with highly mounted scopes.
Interesting picture, Robert, but with Elk on the left, Whitetail on the right.
Cool high-end scope - but for a hunting rifle, for me, too much to look at. I automatically square the
sight picture with no canting & especially with the Immersive on the Condor, at must at 3.7" above the
line of sight.

Pretty well all field target shooters use bubble levels on the scope, similar to the one Wes sell. If you shoot with both eyes open, like I do, it is very easy to use. I have mine one the left side of the scope so it is always in my vision. Focus left eye for a quick check, back to right eye to shoot.

Low mounted scopes are less affected, but long distance amplifies the effect. I have both low and high mounted scopes, so I always just check the level before my final sequence to squeeze the trigger. Easy and works for me.

I bought one of those levels that fits the dovetail, but never got around to putting it on the Condor.
One of these days, maybe. If shooting from an awkward position, it could mean the difference between
a miss and a hit.
