I'm really enjoying my Crosman Icon in .22. It's my first PCP. Now I'm considering a .177 so that I can get a high shot count before having to refill air. I want something that might get about 100 accurate shots per fill and, if possible, retail around the price of the Icon (I know, that's a low budget, but I've got other hobbies, all of which are expensive :D ).
I'm not afraid of hand pumping a 240 cc bottle. Budget is a major concern. Polymer stock is ok as I know that nice wood stocks are expensive. Intended use is 50/50 small pest control and plinking 20 - 50 yards. Hoping for 1/2" to 3/4" groups.
Any recommendations?
TIA.

Hmm, tough to find that kind of shot count at that $350 price point. I have the M16A in 177 for 460 and it'll get well over a hundred shots. Almost out of them now.
The Beeman AR2079 I have in stock wirh a regulated paintball tank is really accurate and cheaper than the icon, and should get around 100 shots or more on the regulator. It's a single shot rifle.

yeah... the Icon only gives you about 30 shots... and for over 100 shot counts, usually you need to check with the bottled rifles which usually not a cheap option...

My detuned (to 10fpe) 177 cz200 with the large volume long air tube (155cc) gives about 50 or 60 good shots I don't remember... however it's not regulated and I also don't pump it to the max (200 bar) but only to 160bar something...

Further to this, I probably should have asked about 75+ shots per fill, not 100. 100 is quite a stretch.

Not a necessary... Just if using air tube, the 155cc one on my cz200 series usually is the big volume choice... Actually it's on the Target models for paper target soothing matches (like the AA S200 Target) not the factory one for my model. The rifle for that purpose will have further less power to 5fpe something, and shot counts can be 130 shots. Same gun tuned to 12fpe will have only 40 shots on that long tube....

When a PCP using bottles... The size on my M3 Compact which uses 300cc bottle is a very mini bottle... Others usually are 400, 500 or bigger sizes... So they are chasing for more than 100 shots... Or very air consuming high power shots...

PP750. At 500 fps you should be getting 60 good shots. Plus it's pretty easy to hand pump.

My PR900/Stormrider easily meets your requirements. If you have a few minutes I have an on-going review on this model. It requires a little work to make it a true 30yd champ.

Out of the box (500fps) I was getting 140+ shot per fill

The SPA M16 I'm selling does about 80 shots at ~12fpe which is a pretty sweet spot for 177.
