Another favorite Diana is the model 27 sporter. The name lasted many years - but, really covered three quite different guns, each of which saw many minor variations. But it was always a fine light sporter of around 6 pounds. Several of them, especially post-war examples, have found their way to my house over the years.

A rose by any other name... those make a nice collection for sure.
My very first "own" air rifle I believe was a Diana and likely a 27 either the DRP or Milbro based on the era, I got it as a refurbished project in around 1968 and had grown up with it kicking around the house.. damaged spring and seals it wasn't good for much except "cowboys and Indians" - not sure how many ppl played that as kids, I sure did. Anyhow long story short I believe I had one of them, and it was the starting point for me in the hobby.
