The 2023 Provincial Championship

The Provincials will be a 60 shot match, shot on 20 lanes with three targets
per lane and one shot per target. We will offer all three divisions. The goal
is to have a match as close as we can to a WFTF match. The match fee is
$20.
On Sunday the 16th, the gates will open at 8:00 AM for setup and the sight-
in begins promptly at 9:00 AM. Shooter’s safety meeting will be at 9:45
AM and the match will start at 10:00 AM. We will shoot all 20 lanes in one
session
Shoot-offs will be held promptly after the match if there are any ties for
medal positions. The medal presentation will follow and those that have a
significant drive can be on their way.
If there are any changes in the agenda, these will be sent out promptly.
I have already created the sign in sheet, so please contact me as soon as you
know for sure if you will or will not be able to attend.

So far we have 17 confirmed and a few more to hear from. Would be great to hit the 20 mark.

After looking at the original post, I realize I did not mention timers. Timers will be used, with one minute per shot and one minute preparation time. There will be four minutes allocated to take three shots. The timer will start when you sit down with your gun for sitting lanes, when you get in position with your gun for standing lanes and when you kneel with your gun in kneeling lanes. If you sit down to range find standing shots, the timer will start when you sit with your gun in hand. In all likelihood, at least half of the lanes will have squads, leaving some room to spread out.

Hoping to hear from a couple more, with the number confirmed now at nineteen.

As everyone that had committed to attend, the match, unfortunately, had to be cancelled on the weekend due to weather and the date has been moved to our October 1st date, which is normally a one shot per target match anyway. I hope this gives everyone time to plan.
