Have you waited for 70 years to deliver the perfect straight line, only to have the other person stare blankly?

My 13-year-old granddaughter showed me a picture of a young rooster which one of her friends has as a pet.

Gddtr told me that she had named the chicken, "Jimmy".

Of course, I had to ask, "Can Jimmy crack corn?".

Blank stare....sigh.
