Check out my brand-new-to-me prized paper puncher. Purchased from a fellow forum member. Thought the trigger was too light, but gave it a chance. As it turns out, it seems rather finely tuned .. and that makes sense. Thanks again, Yep.

Just got this delivered today with a tin of pellets and couldn't be happier.

Shot about 60 shots with it at 5m, with whatever stance suited me, and I have attached the last 5 shot card done with a two handed grip. Sights left as they were.

Then I shot some more and beat up the not-so-great shot cards and that was that.

Wooo. Love it.

Well~ The gun must be very happy too because she's back to duty and getting good use in good hands again~

Much better shooting than your last card uploaded~ :) because of the new gun??

Nice looking pistol.....It looks like a 1911 style with the beavertail

I see the safety on the side, does it also have the grip safety?

Thank you kindly. Still not winning any medals, but haven't missed the box!

My thinking is that it's a combination of factors and it's less about the gun than the previous owner. I was confident from the get-go. Since this gun was purchased from a passionate shooter that I trust, I could tell myself: "This gun is ready, it's zeroed, it's perfect." .. and it was.

The other gun that I own in the same league is the FAS 6004. The trigger is set heavier and its sights are also zeroed rather well for short range.

My lesson for today:

Heavier trigger = worst results.
Light trigger = chance of accidental fire.

Fired accidentally today! Thankfully the muzzle is always pointed safely and still hit the target box, but accidently squeezed too hard before aiming properly.

The finely tuned HW75 showed me that I have to work on my trigger finger. There's too much wobble in there. One day at a time!

It does not have a grip safety.

Being a newb, there's a chance my clumsy fingers hit the safety before aiming. One of my shots today was interrupted because I fumbled and partially engaged the safety. (Newb situation ... I paint a pretty picture but it's a clown show in the background .. i'm the head clown)

The safety switch is on both sides, so that's cool, but no grip safety.

Yeah... Anyway it's not an 1911~ (See Irate~ ppl do think the 45 and 75 looks like an 1911 replica~ [emoji38] )

Under that nice walnut grip, it's a half but very solid frame just holding the sears spring. And no grip safety for it.

And yeah, the design and the built is towards matches... So the safety is light, the trigger is light and crispy too.

You have seen her naked! You have done things to her!

Things!

You tuned her well. You have had your hands all over her ...

.. and I'm cool with that "bro". :)

Yes designed towards matches, sure, but it's a bit heavier that that 6004. My scale is in storage, but this is the perfect reason to grab it.

HW75 (SSP) vs FAS6004 (SSP) vs PP20 (PCP)

A showdown is a' brewin!!!!

Don't worry... I was very gentle... :)

And I didn't do too much but just regular maintenance service... As I shoot very less with this lady... And She preformed so well and no need to do anything actually~

It's designed towards match but not very exactly for those for the 6004... So there is no march grip for the HW75 and it looks good when being heavily armed, right?! ;)

You definitely should put the two twin sisters (P1) together... They looks alike but actually completely different in the inside~ That's so charming and attractive~ :)

I weighted my babies before... Before the HW75 came home, so I don't have her sensitive number here... But her twin sister is 1192 grams.

Image

And the HW40 is 863g. Yours will be a bit less as mine has the extender and some extra screws in it...

Image

My old P3 is 1120g due to the scope mounted. And she gained some weight later because I mounted a bigger scope one her... :) the scope on the picture was the factory stock one came in the original package.

Image

New / old scopes. ...

Image

That's what a P3/HW40 can do when took the shooter out and "clamped" it on the chair (fully rested... :) )

Image

Image

The biggest baby in the house is the FWB300SU. 5733g on record... Have to cut her into two pieces (like the magic show) and weighted the two parts one by one... (just a small kitchen scale in the house...) Never think/imagine I could shoot this tractor like rifle free standing, cock, aim, pull trigger, take a breath and repeat 100 times in a session... Match version (without scope and bipod and those "add-ons" from me) it could be much lighter tho... [emoji38]

@YepYep

Just can't find my scale right now. Looked all over the place.

It's probably in storage.

I'll grab it soon and throw that HW75 and P1 on there for you. Curious about P1 vs HW45 given that the sights are different .. makes one wonder.

Also, got a trigger-pull scale coming and choosing a chrono replacement since I literally shot out the 2 ir leds on the last one. Doh.

This isn't the last you hear of your old HW75.

Thank you. Today, things didn't look so good, but I'll keep on posting progress here and there. Shot about 100 pellets and wow, lots of work to do.

... as an aside, the master bedroom closet spans the entire bedroom and has 6 doors, but it's basically another room. No it's not fancy it's just the way it is for my weird little house. It's 3 sets of double doors. Like 3 standard closets all next to each other. Weird.

I measured it. Just a little over ... 5 meters! ( :D  :D )

Hey winter's coming man! I wonder if she'll mind a bit of lead dust on her dresses. haha.

.. because that's exactly where I'm practicing this winter. LOL.
