Just got the system today. Spent 5 minutes installing the phone app and doing first training session. Will play more after work and dinner.

Here's the gallery shot ... (I may follow up with a review at some point.)

It just slips on to your picatinny rail, and picks up all the dry-fire shots just fine.

The Mantis X2 works VERY well with bb guns, well at least the Umarex Glock 19.

LOL .. Finally I have a use for these Glocks.

Seriously, you could duct tape this thing to your gun and it would work, as long as the dry-fire is loud enough. (No C02, just the sound of the trigger)

Happy camper right here. Once I get into it a bit more, I may do a review on it, but suffice it to say: It works with my bb gun.

First pic is the Mantis installed on the Beeman P1 without tools or anything. It slides on and stays there. Weird!!! Match made in heaven. (The P1 doesn't have a rail! .. it's just luck.)

Next is a picture of the setup on a PP20 Match pistol using a custom mount of my own making.

The reasons using these two pistols is so desirable is that their dry-fire mode is incredibly quiet and their triggers are fantastic.
The Beeman P1, being a springer, is not something you want to fire without a pellet, and so it supports a safe, quiet dry-fire mode.

Another good candidate for the Mantis would be something like a Crosman 2240 due to the quiet dry-fire.

I have dry-fired various pistols over a thousand times with the system and it works remarkably well.

My only dry fire practice has been with my DA revolvers - .38 spl. & .44 mag. thousands of "rounds".

Wow! The real deal huh. That must be fun to use in honing one's skills. Must be fun to shoot too. Police training or something?

... don't mind me with my plinkers, just a plinkin up a storm. Yup. *kicks ground*
