It’s statistically proven that having a ladder in your home is more dangerous than a loaded gun
that’s why I have 12 guns in case some maniac tries to sneak a ladder in here.

Ladders are nasty, scary devices.

OMG guys you likely won't believe this but our HSC Safety guy broke his ankle last summer falling off his ladder at his private residence cleaning out the evestroughs......

I smart mouthed him by asking if he filled out a Hazard Assessment Sheet and was he following proper use of ladder safety provided by the manufacturer.... :butthead: :lol: :lol: :lol:

LOL~ You are so meant~

I am a field tech, and our company truck usually has 3 ladders, short one, long one and a step ladder...

And last winter in the other shop, one tech didn't wear the helmet when using the step ladder to brush off the snow on the roof of the milk truck then received a warning letter from the manager in the other team.... I heard those two managers were fighting each other at that time... LOL~ And the poor guy just a little bit too short and the arm not long enough to brush the snow without a stool or something elae... so he used the step ladder and stood on the first step... A brother-in-law of mine, fell off his ladder while cleaning eves trough, had a heart attack and died.
Now, he might have had the heart attack first - not known, but makes sense.

I know that this was a joke, but a few have added serious notes so I will pile on.

A friend of mine was up a ladder washing the side of his house (he has never clearly described why, but that is not the point). The bottom of the ladder slipped on the wet deck boards and left him like Wile. E Coyote standing there on nothing.
When he hit the deck his shin bone shattered and came out through his pants. He was told more than once that he was going to lose his leg, but after many surgeries and several painful years he is now able to walk again.
Stay safe everyone!

A bit off-topic perhaps..

And Health Canada has their daily bans on pretty much anything ..obviously bored and need something to justify their positions in their ivory towers.

Ban/recall jackets with strings;

And banning corded blinds (almost 1 in 40 million deaths per year!)

Next will be dental floss
