I'm in.
I am looking for advice from this learned group.
I have 3 choices for pistol:
Beeman P17 177cal SSP 2.8fpe
Diana Airbug 177cal CO2 3.1fpe
Crosman 2240 22cal CO2 5.9fpe

Given the cool forecast, I doubt that the CO2 pistols will perform well. The P17 is rather feeble but I am guessing that most 177cal pistols will be near this number.

In warmer weather I would pick the 2240 for oomph or the Airbug for accuracy and ease of operation.

What suggestions? (And no, buying YepYep's 22cal Reximex RP before Saturday is not an option).

For the rifle portion, I will use my HW50 with open sights.

I think 2240/CO2 is better for the match at 17 degrees C. The power advantage is too much to ignore. At 25 yards, 2240 can hit targets accurately too.

I'm in! I'll be shooting a Crosman 2300T (all of the CO2, none of the oomph) with open sights, and a Crosman M4-177 multi-pump with a peep sight.

Hmm, if you are parking your HW50 and bringing the M4, maybe I should reconsider my HW50 and bring one of my Optimus's..... although one needs a trigger fix and the other has a broken spring.... I clearly need to spend more time at the workbench.
Whatever we bring it will be a fun day!
See you there,
