Ever go to a sporting goods store to get hiking boots, get sidetracked by a knife, then leave with a used classic air rifle? Not just me, right??

Went to the closest town because I ended up wrecking my hikers that I just patched up to chase elk around, while in camp. Ended up going to a sporting goods store, but as they were pricey, and I didn't like the fit I was soon distracted by an interesting knife. Nearly took it home, but had the feeling that it was going to be an expensive day...

Found it in the used gun rack, in Dawson Creek. I believe it came from Prince George by way of E&I going out of business. Too bad. Used to like going there, and not many little stores left.

Always meant to pick one of these up with the wood stock, but they got discontinued.

Brought it back to camp. Should have got a few pellets for it, but have thousands at home.

Yeah those are nice rifles, congrats.
The fella that sold me my hw45 also had a Sheridan for sale. I almost grabbed it as well.
Airgun Detective reviewed the Benjamin 392 with positive results. Hard hitting unit.

Nice looking pumper! Such a pity they never made any Non-PAL.

Thanks! For me, whether it's PAL or not doesn't make much difference. But I wouldn't have been as interested in getting this one, if it was lower powered.

If they had started production in more recent years, perhaps that would have been a consideration, but I think the power level it has better represented what is reasonable for small game and what people wanted.

Wouldn't mind picking up an old Silver Streak also.
