heidi- was the last of our 3 cats. two years ago we said goodbye to two of them--they were both 18 years old. heidi was 19. she,ll be missed very much. she- loved- and wanted to go for a walk on her leash every single day.

I am sorry to hear that Pete.
It is amazing how big a hole these little ones leave when they are gone and the dozen different things that you suddenly realize, when you drop your hand to pat them and they are not there, or you walk into a room and think that you saw them in the corner of your eye, or you automatically tear off a piece of their favorite treat only to realize that they are not there to take it.

I have heard it said that to describe the loss of a beloved pet to someone who has not been through it is impossible - to describe it to someone who has is unnecessary.

Sounds like she had a long, full life with you. Hold her in your memories.

Best wishes.
Rob

So sorry to hear that, Pete. It will be hard to you and your family...

I love cats and had cats in my home since I was a little kid to 20ish then I left home to Canada and have my cat here for just a few years... It never been easy and just like lost an important member in the family...

Yeah.... The fellings just too bad....

I had my cat left home for about two weeks in this summer and that's totally a nightmare to everyone at the time... So thankful that we found her at last and brought her home again...

We are cat-less at present but hopefully another will joni us. We have had cats and house rabbits for the last 30 years and miss the departed ones greatly

Sorry for your loss, but hopefully there is another cat looking for the empty space in your home.

Sorry for your loss......for most, myself included, pets are family members. The loss of a pet brings the same pain......

Hopefully you have many fond memories to look back on as you go through the process of grieving.
