To pass the time, I like to scroll what is newly posted over at the Gunpost. :D

I can't believe how many folks purchase shotguns and never use them....."New in box, never fired only taken out of box to look at, just never use so needs to find a good home". LOL

Do these guys buy, hang onto to them in hope of the price going up and make a couple dollars?

Impulse buy?

From what I see looking at new prices, no one in there right mind will pay what they are asking. I can see if shotgun is discontinued etc.

Thoughts? :drinkers:

That is like me and break barrels, I thought the next will be the one. Now I am 3 into it, and no chance of selling them to recoup some money. Break barrels seem to be for sale everywhere

Maybe it's like fishing. A lot of people buy a shotgun with intent to go hunting or clay sports but never get around to doing it. Maybe some buy for home defence then over time lose the desire to have a gun in the home. Some people have so many that they will never get around to using that particular item. Many understandable reasons. Having children I constantly evaluate ownership.

Yeah, there are no doubt many reasons. I only wish for those to enjoy them as much as I do.

What I find is, there are those that seem to think guns are an investment? I say, purchase gold or silver then. LOL

Another I see is, they purchase every accessory known then drop 30 bucks from the total add up cost. When I give them links, they come back with "true but, you save the GST". I always thank them for their time and add I will pass on the offer.

Gunpost is a great place but, the buyer's need to do their homework and price check new guns that come with warranty and can be returned if need be. :drinkers:
