Thanks for letting me sign up.

I'm experienced with regular firearms but would like to purchase a a good air rifle for targets. It's becoming a nuisance to go the the firing range so thought a target air rifle for the cottage would be the way to g.

I'm looking forward to see other's views on the various brands, equipment etc.

Welcome, it's a good way to enjoy target shooting so I'm sure you'll have some fun. If you can make a local friend and try out a few of their air rifles. There are just too many different types, models, calibers to choose from nowadays. :drinkers:

Thanks for the welcome,

I've been looking at the hundreds of options. It is a puzzle.

Just when I think I like a gun, a number critical reviews, issues, or problems show up in chats that I search and it makes it harder to decide.

So far I've been looking into a few Cometa's, Hatsan's and Diana's. I'm looking at higher velocity but not bent on knocking down a house with it.

The last air gun I bought was a Crosman Mark 1 pistol in the 70's, still have it.

Any suggestions would be great.
