Some people definitely go over the edge for decorations. Came across this house in Ohio this week when I was down for family. There was a guy dressed in a Santa costume dancing around in the front window. Hate to have his hydro bill lol

The pics don't do it justice. Some of the stuff was animated. Santa in the window was hilarious

Meant tongue in cheek. Yes, for sure it's a wonderful display of festive cheer. I have great fondness for Clark and his effort to put on the perfect Christmas. There is a lot of undertone in that movie, I bet mostly unintentional - and I often use that phrase to illustrate that no matter what we do, three is always someone to find criticism.

We had a rich businessman do that to his house over 30yrs ago, folks would travel for miles to see it. Back then the average house had a total utility bill of $120 bucks each month for Dec. and Jan. His was over $2,000 LOL

There was no such LED Christmas bulbs in those days........It would be of interest to hear what the bill would be today?

Yeah. LED's make a huge difference. I have stuff on 24 hours a day 365 a year and my bills went down compared to old tech a few hours a day.
