I would like to wholeheartedly recommend this fine product. Jacob Speers is a superb craftsman who not only makes excellent muzzle brakes (and other products), but his communication, attention to detail, and prices are hard to beat.
I am very satisfied with the final result; he made me a custom muzzle brake as per my request.
He asks for the dimensions, for the size I would like, for the material, for the finish and for my preferred attachment method and pretty much anything else I would like; he makes them to order.
I wanted a muzzle brake for my HW30S. I asked for a 6063 aluminum muzzle brake, 4.5" length and 25mm diameter, polished and black anodized finish.
He got to work on it very quickly and it arrived to my door in less than week from initially contacting Jacob.

His e-mail is: jacobspeers "at" icloud "dot" com

Very nice touch to your rifle. Good to know his name and quality of workmanship.

It suits the muzzle nicely and will provide a nice hand hold. Have you noticed any change in POI with the muzzle brake? Being light weight Al, with a low profile probably won't affect POI much, if any I expect. What attachment did you go for?

I see no hole(s) nor slot(s), so it is a muzzle weight or muzzle enlargement or cocking handle or whatever, but - not a muzzle break.
Muzzle breaks are designed to relieve pressure to the sides and usually up, to reduce recoil in CF rifles and handguns.
Good looking addition to the rifle, BTW.

Correct. The only holes are for 3 different retainer screws which allow you to set the muzzle weight further back on the barrel if you wish.
Jacob also makes actual CF muzzle brakes.

Thanks. I haven't tested it beyond 18 yards, which is as far as I can shoot around my place, but still the same 5 - shot ragged hole. It does make for a nice handle, and will protect the muzzle and front sight grooves as my son does tend to knock it around more than I'd like.
