Hi all,

An update on the PFT matches - we have time this Sunday, Feb 11 from 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM.

There will also be matches on:
Mar 16 from 12:00 PM - 3:30 PM
April 20 from 11:30 AM - 3:00 PM

We can start setting up at noon so the more people that arrive at this time to help setup, the longer the sight-in range will be open!

Match fee: $15

It will be a 48 shot match, consisting of 6 lanes with 2 targets each at a maximum distance of 35 yards and two rounds of shooting. We'll be finished and out by 2:30 PM.

All pistols MUST shoot below 500 FPS.

The classes are:
A) Iron Sights - Sights will be limited to open sights.
B) Non-magnified Optic Sights - Limited to non-magnification red dot, non-magnification cross-hair designs and peep or diopter sights with a sight radius not to exceed twenty-four inches (24”).
C) Scope -Scopes will be limited to 12 times zoom power. There will be no limits to reticle design.

I will send a note to Magdy, but the choice of class might be a game-time decision.
I have a 2240 with a simple red dot that I am comfortable with even though the trigger is rough and tough, I have my new-to-me HW75 that I am enjoying with open sights, and I have a new Airbug in .22 that I have barely shot but like the trigger.
I do not have any pistol scopes so that narrows the choice of class down to two - unless someone has a pistol scope that they feel like dealing....

Due to a schedule mismatch this weekend the FT pistol match has been cancelled.

The next match is in March and details will be posted closer to the day.

We shall get a a pistol shoot in!
