I live near SJ NB and it would be nice to meet others. I shoot springers and PCPs and cast my own slugs and pellets.

I am in Nova Scotia and cannot find many shooters that belong to clubs or groups to shoot
I think with all the negitave Libreal hipe about guns everyone does not want to let anyone know they like to plink.
I have a indoor range set up of 20 yrds where two others so far come shoot on wed evenings.
here in Nova Scotia we cannot hunt for anything legally with airrifles.
I live in lunenburg county and feel stupid booking a DNR range to shoot air rifles lol

About 20 years ago I got stopped when I was rabbit hunting with my .25 cal Kodiak. The DNR was not sure if it was legal as it was not a .22 cal and we put in a request for clarification and 3 months later I was told that an air rifle was not considered a centre fire so it was legal for small game.

I guess there isn't much that isn't private land, there, ie: crown, or public land?

NB does not have a lot of private land worth hunting. Most is crown or not posted.

Really? I thought it would be mostly privately owned land.

Here in B.C., anyone can shoot/hunt/walk/run/play/drive quads on 'crown' land.
