Hello Gord:
I do not have the piston you are searching for, but I do own one of these long discontinued air rifles and since there is very little discussion of these on current air rifle forums, I thought I might contact you with an inquiry. I was hoping that you might be in possession of the original spring and, if so, you would be able to provide me with the dimensions of the original spring if you have it. Upon purchasing mine about a year ago I replaced the spring with an aftermarket one from Air Rifle Headquarters. It works flawlessly but I should have measured the original and written down the dimensions for my files before I discarded it and the factory guide. I'm interested in the OD, wire thicknesss, coil count, and the length, if you're so inclined. Perhaps I might offer you some information in exchange?. These are truly awesome air rifles! Thank you...Ken Dinnes

Hi Ken...nice to meet you...I got a hold of my gunsmith John...when repairing/trying to repair the HW50 replacing the spring was part of the process...unfortunately the old spring was binned...bummer...so we are disappointed that we can't assist in your search for that info.

The HW50 pistons available are the P068...they are too large...my old HW50 needs the older smaller one.

Again, sorry we can't assist...all the best, G.

I can't help you with the piston, but I did record the dimension of a factory spring I had for the HW50S, this spring fits the old HW50, with the end cap that screws on.
This spring fits the HW50 and Beeman R8. It's Weihrauch part number is H9002

31 coils
Wire diameter is 2.9mm
The outer diameter of the whole spring is 20.1mm
Overall length is 25.6cm

They are indeed great air rifles, essentially a scaled down version of the HW80/Beeman R1. I put the kit (including one of their own piston seals) from Air Rifle headquarters into my HW50 and it transformed into a rifle that is just a joy to shoot.
