Hello all,

Now, that I greatly reduced my pellet and target/can inventory, having fun with my newest air gun family member, I like to upgrade with the wood grips.

While I have had quick responses from several air gun retailers in Canada (I am told the item is backordered or maybe discontinued) , the response from Umarex has been zero.zero, which is sad.

Any suggests where I might find the wood grips would be helpful.

Thanks,
Steve

Update,

I heard from a friendly Umarex customer service rep, he was familiar with wooden grip kits that were in a very limited supply at best and have been out of production for awhile, even though some companies still list them, oh well.

Now, I am thinking the possibly of ordering them as a replacement part, from the nickel/wood grip M92FS version.

there are lots of nice wood ones on amazon and e-bay. but i don,t know if they will fit onto airguns. unless they can be modified to fit. i know that on the 1911 model airguns-- you had to do a little bit of work with a dremel tool and grind the inside down a bit so they would fit over the co2 cartridge.

Yep! I have the same concern as I bought a few grip panels for my HW45 which actually can fit directly (mostly the case), But they won't do the same on the 1911 co2 replicas. Because the real steel just need a flat frame to fit on, but on replicas because of the co2 capsule housing is a bit different (even it's a drop off mag like steel BBs version) some work must done to make it fit...

Nothing difficult tho... A handy man should be able to do that in home...

Edit...
Oh, and if it's for a M92FS pellet, the panels are use a spring like clip to clip on I remember?! So you might need to find a way to modify the panel to attach the clip to use it then...

there is one you tube video on the subject. it doesn,t show the guy grinding it out--but he shows the grip and explains what he did. you have to get the clip out of the old grip and transfer it to your new wood grip-- but with a little dremel grinding. i just typed in you tube-- putting new grips onto beretta 92fs pellet gun. --and his video came up--name--replica airgun lovers.

Thanks to everyone for the helpful hints!

I ordered plastic grips as suggested by notec and also wood grips from Amazon for a real Beretta, I have a good friend who is very good at woodworking (more patience than me), so a plan is developing that hopefully I will end up with wooden grips :)
