I suppose I can't complain at this...1 1/2 inch group aiming for centre of can at 50 yards using cheapo, ill- fitting 13.2 grain pointed grizzlies...minus 10C this morning too. Final shot of course became a flyer...

Nice and satisfying plinking session~ [emoji38]

How you fix the can to avoid the impact kicking it into air? I don't think you walk to reposition the can after each shot.... I do that because I just shoot in my 9 yards basement... 50 yards away will be a lot of walking indeed~ [emoji38]

Actually I DO make a lot of trips back and forth to the targets but not for one target...I only had one can with me today and seven styrofoam balls from Dollarama..a little bigger than a golf ball but much smaller than a tennis ball...
I fix them to strings with some weights attached to keep them steady if it's not too windy...only downer today was I left my darn gloves at home and had to warm my hands often in the truck...other than that a good time shootin'.

Cans are really good for plinking! I used to hammer a broom stick into the ground and put the can over it and plink all day or until the can was so holey it wouldn't plink anymore. Now i use solid round aluminum disks that swing - never need replacing. Must say I only ever had one gun that liked Grizzly pellets, I believe it was a QB79 in .177.

Yeah I like cans...nice reactive targets. I tried swinging targets but couldn't hit them regularly to save my life..Yeah grizzlies aren't good pellets which is why I posted this group with the can. A rarity for grizzlies past 20 yards...wanted to shoot the last of them up today so on to my stockpile of CHP's..14.3
