Had my prize Weihrauch 35E out today. Slipped on some greasy mud falling on my side and busting the stock right in half at the grip. Looking for a used stock for it. The walnut stock didnt have a mark on it even though the gun is 20 years old! I almost cried!

How about having it repaired? If you are handy, there are many tutorials online for repairs. Or you can ask one of our many members to repair it.

Can be glued up with a shaft or pin running lengthwise up the wrist.
2-ton epoxy or other high strength epoxy like Brownells AcraGlass should be used.
If done properly, a high strength wood glue like Titebond 3 will work. All pieces of the stock must be present
if the stock broke into more than 2 pieces.

I would add my voice to those who say, it can be repaired. I broke a stock in pretty much the same place, and repaired it myself. I am not a woodworker, just took my time and was careful.
Wood glue is used to glue the piece back together and is amazingly strong at joining two wood pieces. I tested this out and glued two pieces of wood together before I attempted the repair and was amazed how strong the bond is with wood glue. I used Titebond 3 glue (had to order from Amazon, as I could not find it in town)

I also drilled a hole down through the pistol grip of the stock and used epoxy to glue a 1/2" diameter threaded metal rod in the hole, to add even more strength.

Either way, if you want to attempt or have someone else repair it, I think you could be happy with the result.

Of course the only drawback would be the crack could be more or less visible, depending on who does the repair.

Here is what can be accomplished if you take your time and be methodical.
A catastrophic break as you can see, with many small parts.
The last picture is of the repaired rifle.
Yes, I know it isn't an air rifle.

Impressive! Now that is a "seeing is believing" situation.

Yes, sure is. Here is the other side of the rifle after the repair.
Most of the "repair/glue lines" are invisible.

It's a wooden stock. They can ship to Canada or have it shipped to one of the receiving companies at your favorite border crossing point and carry it back.
