Hey everyone planning on getting my PAL.
I live in Pickering near the Pickering Scarborough border does anyone have a recommendation on where I should take the safety course at?
Thanks.

If you're in the Scarborough region, Walter Bent offers courses on the weekend and weekdays. He's been involved with teaching for over 25 years. I thoroughly enjoyed the delivery of the courses. Located close to the Midland Ave and Kingston Rd. intersection.

Yep! If this location is closer to OP, I recommend Mr. Bent's little school too~

I got my PAL/RPAL from there in a weekend course~ Good teachers and fun class! Enjoyed the experience very much~

What are they charging, in T.O. area?
Is the exam still $25.00?

3 years ago in the interior of BC it was $250 for both courses on a weekend. Included everything. I returned the book to them to use with someone else.

Long time ago when I got mine. Cost $25.00 for the book and $25.00 to challenge the exam. That was the total.
Cost my daughter $25.00 to challenge the exam as she had my book. Had her read the book 3 times, helped her
with some of the questions she had and she aced the P.A.L. exam when in her 20's. Excellent retention, that child.
(She's 42 yrs old now & teaches high school)
