Here is something I never knew existed. A longer barrel version of the HW97K

https://www.krale.shop/en/weihrauch-hw97k-long/

I have been following Weihrauch for over 2 decades and this is the first time I have ever seen this rifle. I wonder if it is just the barrel and under lever from the full length HW77 fitted to the 97? Why call it an HW97K though? Seems to me it's just an HW97. :D

My instinct says that Krale has just used the 97K name in error. K of course stands for Karbine = short barrel.

Didn't know they ever made a 97 long barrel,so it's another lucky day for me!

That is indeed an HW97K, and I have seen a few over the years.
Most of these versions that I have seen wore the "Beeman" markings, but still designated as "HW97K".
The barrel is the same length, but the muzzle brake is different, thus the difference in length, and the location of the underlever latch.
The difference of 100 mm that they note, is in overall length of barrel and muzzle break.

That one looks like it might have a 12 to 14" bl.
I guess it's OK, but I do prefer the way our shorter barreled HT's look.
Maybe that is due to the overall length, or that the enlargement at the end of the barrel, looks better to
me on the shorter barrel.
